Flyers and information leaflets

We have put together a selection of flyers to support librarians and library users. Browse the tabs to find the resources that best meet your needs.

As with everything in our toolkit, these are free to download. Feel free to add these to your subject guides or share them with users as you see fit.

For further support, please contact Angela Ball, Customer Relations Manager

This two-page flyer introduces the FSTA database to library users, featuring key information such as:

  • Why students and researchers should use FSTA to enhance their literature searching
  • What information is available within FSTA
  • How the scientific literature sources are carefully assessed to ensure its relevance and trustworthiness
  • Key features of FSTA on the platform you subscribe through

Select one of the three variations below, based on the platform you subscribe to FSTA through:

This flyer outlines 4 core reasons why students and researchers should be using FSTA:

1. Don't waste time trawling through pages of irrelevant results and poor-quality sources

2. Your references need to be credible

3. Your searches need to be thorough

4. Discover research you might otherwise miss, because of synonyms and spelling variants

Screensavers & Graphics

This selection of promotional graphics can be used in a variety of ways, based on your needs. Browse the selection and download your favourite to use as:

  • Screensavers and backgrounds on library computers
  • Graphics on screens and displays
  • Presentation slides
  • Digital or physical posters
  • Anything else you can think of!

Feel free to add your institution's logo to the image, or contact us to request personalised versions of any of the resources provided.

Promotional email template

You may find it beneficial to email relevant faculty and researchers at your institution to highlight the strengths and features of FSTA.

We have put together an example email to outline the benefits and allow you to share how to access FSTA. Please feel free to use this, or to adapt it to your needs.

Physical items

We have a number of IFIS and FSTA promotional items available for those who would find them beneficial. Please get in touch if you would like to receive items such as pens, stickers and other branded items.

Please note that some items may not be possible to supply, due to international postage rules and other potential regulations.
